Your horse is an athlete, why not treat it like one. Some horses are more naturally gifted than others, but the common denominator between them all, is that the musculoskeletal system equates to over 70% of their body weight. This system is responsible for movement and yet it is the muscles that are often overlooked when it comes to preventative maintenance and injury rehabilitation.
Equine Bodywork can help locate and relieve knots and other muscular issues that may be limiting your horse's range of motion and therefore performance. Minor injuries and adhesions caused by over exertion and/or overuse can be broken down quickly and effectively. It can help prepare the equine athlete for peak performance, drain away fatigue, relieve swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote flexibility and prevent injury.
Equine Bodywork can include pre-event, post-event and maintenance techniques that promote greater athletic endurance and performance, lessening injuries and reducing recovery time. Rebecca uses a variety of techniques including Sports, Tellington, Masterson, Myofascial, Laser and Acupuncture to achieve result for top level performance horses to kids ponies.
Elementals Equine Therapies has experience in treating racehorses, top level dressage, showjumping and eventing horses, also western pleasure, reining and trail riding horses.
