UPDATE: Rocco is heading to a trusted retrainer who will decide what she likes to do....she may even fall in love. This is a great opportunity for Rocco to be restarted under the guidance of a kind retrainer. I am looking forward to seeing how it all pans out for her.
Moroccan Meteor is a 4-year-old, chestnut thoroughbred mare. She only trialled once, raced twice, and was retired as she was too slow. She is sound, has had 6 months off and best guess 17hh.
I am told she has lovely movement and would excel in most fields, current owners thought the best matches were showing, dressage, and jumping. She has good ground manners and is easy to catch, rug, good with farrier and good with other horses. She would need to have an experienced person to transition her due to her size and age. She is a windsucker who has a lovely nature and is stunningly beautiful. She is ready to move forward with now.
I treated her a few times while she was in the racing stable and always found her easy to be around. She occasionally has a bit of a sore back consistent with a young horse coming in to work.
