Brad is a 3-year-old brown thoroughbred gelding, approximately 15.3/16hh. Brad was bred, owned and trained by the same couple, so he is more of a family horse and has been in a more personalised, small stable environment. The trainer is retiring him as he has shown no real interest in racing and to be honest, he is not that great at it. If you are into bloodlines, he has Deep Impact on his father's side and Redoutes Choice on his mother's, He has only had 3 starts (plus 2 trials). He is sound.
He is a bit of a cuddle bug and I found it very hard to get photo's as a result, I ended up calling in help. He requires a confident rider to help him learn new skills after racing. His trackwork rider said "he is pretty good to get about, no bite or kick in him, he can be a bit fresh and cheeky. To ride he will want an experienced rider. He has a nice temperament, loves a pat and a roll." She also said he wasn't always easy and put that down to his age. He will need time off to let down and mature a bit more. He would be a nice all-rounder, trail riding, showjumper, or eventer.
