RACEHORSE REHOMING: BACARDI

Bacardi is a 4 year old, bay, thoroughbred mare, She is lightly raced with only 4 starts and is showing no desire to racehorse. She is about 16.1hh with both Gallileo and Danehill lines. She is sound.

She was understandably a bit nervous at her first start but her strapper said she has handled every other race experience like a pro. She is a young, fit racehorse and last raced on 7 May 2026 so will need some time to unracehorse. She is used travelling on an angle float. She is a beautiful, blank canvas waiting for the right person to guide her and transition her from racing to.....???? The possibilities are endless with this girl.

Ideally, you will need to be someone I know or can be vouched for by someone I know. If not, I will need a verbal reference from your vet or similar. You will need to be experienced in transitioning a racehorse to another career or have a trainer who can guide you. She is not for beginners or people needing a confidence booster. A vet check is welcome at your expense if you want it.
