RACEHORSE REHOMING: TOY

Toy is a handsome rising 4 year old thoroughbred gelding. He is bay, approximately 16hh and solid. He is great to handle. He has been started with racing in mind but has not progressed to a trainer as he is a roarer. He is a blank canvas awaiting his perfect person to guide him. Toy has a presence about him, is well put together, is curious, playful and brave. He is good with other horses but can get a little bossy when he first meets them.

He would be suited to trail riding, working equitation, pony club, liberty, mounted archery, farm work, low level fun jumping, classical dressage etc. He would not be suited to high level competition. He is a young, strong horse and needs a capable person to help guide him.  I can imagine him on a holiday at the beach having a fabulous time. This beautiful boy deserves a person of his own so he can become the amazing horse he is meant to be.

Ideally, you will need to be someone I know or can be vouched for by someone I know. If not, I will need a verbal reference from your vet or similar. You will need to be experienced in transitioning a racehorse to another career or have a trainer who can guide you. He is not for beginners or people needing a confidence booster. A vet check is welcome at your expense if you want it.
