About the Event

In this 3 day clinic Hayley will cover:-
How to easily and consistently find a balanced, neutral seat for riding, exercises both on and off the horse using neutral pelvis.
In hand exercises to help the horse find a good weight bearing and functional posture
For new people you will start with an eyes closed session to feel how the mechanics of the horse moves their body and they can feel the difference with a neutral pelvis and their regular riding. (you will be led for this session)
Ridden exercises to enhance ‘feel’ and to ride the horse your horse with your body/seat/mind rather than your hands and legs.
For the more experienced we can move it up to work on teaching the horse to step thorough from behind, straightness, balance, transitions, lateral work, etc
Also covered some basic hands-on awareness techniques.
Day 1: Suitable for absolute newbies to Connected Riding or people who would like a refresh of basic skills. For those more experienced Hayley will tailor your sessions to suit the needs of horse and rider. Everyone will be balanced off the horse first.
Day 2 -3 Suitable for all experience levels
Private lessons are also available if you have done Connected Riding previously, please ask for more information

$1050 for 3 days: Early bird special $950 if paid in full by February 15 2023. A deposit of $250 will hold your spot.

About Hayley
Redbrook Equestrian was Established in 2007, run by Hayley Howells ABRSTC, TTouch Practitioner with over 30 years teaching experience and keen to help riders fine tune their riding. Redbrook Equestrian is a friendly professionally run Riding School, Pony Club Centre and livery yard situated in Upper Redbrook near Monmouth in the beautiful Wye Valley. She specialises in teaching how to use your body more efficiently, to readily improve your horse's performance by rebalancing the rider and encouraging freedom of movement, self-carriage, improving overall behaviour, performance, and communication from beginners to experienced professional.
